With a population of 1.18 million people in the Greater Auckland area, Auckland is New Zealand's largest city and is perhaps the most vibrant, lively and multicultural city in New Zealand. The Auckland culture is reflected in many different aspects of everyday life around Auckland.

Also known as the 'City of Sails', Auckland owns more boats per head of population than any other city in the world and is currently home to the America's Cup.
